VE Day 80 beacon lighting
Join Councillors and residents as they celebrate VE Day by lighting the Farthinghoe beacon.

On Thursday 8th May the nation will come together to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
To commemorate the anniversary, beacons and lamp lights of peace will lit at 21:30 up and down the country.
All residents of Farthinghoe and Steane are invited to join us at The Fox in Farthinghow from 20:15 where soup and a roll will be served. The lighting of beacon – located off New Road – will take place at 21:30.
