A422 Traffic mitigation Drop in session and petition.
There is a drop in session on Monday 10 March 2025 between 3.30pm and 7.30pm in the village hall. Officers from WNC and Kier as well as WNC councillors will be on hand to show their alternative solution to the A422 issues.

The papers attached show what they are proposing instead of building a bypass or having a weight restriction through the village. Everyone is encouraged to drop in at some point, view the proposals and discuss with those present their opinions.
You should also be aware, that the proposal for a bypass has been withdrawn from WNC Local Transport Plan , meaning there is very little chance of a bypass being considered for the next 10-20 years. The parish council argued vociferously that the bypass should remain on the plan as an option but our wishes were completely ignored by officers and councillors at WNC.
